COBRA Release 3 builds upon the business related approach and ‘ease of use’ principles of COBRA Risk Consultant. It introduces a number of important new features:

The facility to produce results in a colourful graphical format
The option to output directly to MS-Word or similar.

Using its upgraded knowledge base, COBRA will:

Identify system threats, vulnerabilities and exposures.
Measure the degree of actual risk for each area or aspect of a system, and directly link this to the potential business impact.

BS 7799 COMPLIANCE CHECKING AND RISK ANALYSIS IN ONE!

In a radical departure, COBRA Release 3 also offers the opportunity to review the BS 7799 compliance position. As BS 7799 actually mandates risk analysis, this logical step ensures that COBRA provides the means to perform a BS 7799 compliance review AND a full and detailed risk analysis review.

Utilising the COBRA system enables BOTH these essential tasks to be undertaken with the minimum of fuss, expense or difficulty. It is the most cost effective and straightforward route to ensure that security is commensurate with risk and is in line with the demands of the BS 7799 standard.
